I am a great believer in re furbishing, and in the case of furniture there is no dought about it the old furniture was made much better and better materials where used in the production. In the U.K. We used to have some fantastic furniture manufacturers sadly I don’t think there many left .img_1146This nest of Tables was made by a company called Ercol they are so well made of beautiful solid elm these items will be the antiques of the future.

img_3003This desk is made by a company called Ducal anouther great British manufacturer I have re finished so many of there products over the years. It’s all made from solid pine but properly manufactured using proper joinery technics. And if properly treated will last for many years to come. I think this particular desk was probably made in the 1970. We removed the old finish and re spray painted it.
